Director at Complete One in attendance for Newcastle Falcons last gasp winner

Complete One’s Glen Lowes was given VIP tickets to attend the Newcastle Falcons Vs Gloucester on Friday April 7th, as part of the firm's official sponsorship deal.

Complete One secured the sponsorship with the Newcastle Falcons in October 2016. The deal came to fruition when Mr. Lowes began exploring sponsorship opportunities within the local community to gain exposure for the Complete One brand, as well as strengthening the firm’s connection to the city of Newcastle.

One of the perks of the sponsorship deal includes VIP tickets to select games. The 4-ticket VIP package includes a three-course dinner, drinks and a meet and greet with the players. As an avid sports fan, Mr. Lowes is thrilled to have an association with the Newcastle Falcons, and has revealed the impact the sponsorship has had at the firm, stating “we’ve seen a real boost to our team spirit. We all get together to watch as many games as we can, and it has proved to be an excellent tool for team bonding. Sport has the invaluable power to unify people,” said Mr. Lowes.

As part of the company’s sponsorship package, Complete One also receive a number of other perks including; a signed shirt, hospitality tickets, a stadium announcement, company name and logo advertised on the big screen during games. Complete One’s name can also be found in the player biography sections of the match day programme, on stadium announcement’s when a player scores, on match day tickets to a game of Mr. Lowes choice, and finally they are sponsoring scrum-half Sonatane Takulua.

It was an important fixture as the Falcons, sitting in ninth place in the Aviva Premiership, took on the team one place above them, Gloucester. Gloucester looked to have sewn things up, leading 14-10 with 15 minutes to go after tries from Jonny May and Tom Marshall, both converted by Billy Twelvetrees. However, the Falcons kept fighting, and Fly-half Joel Hodgson kicked a last-gasp penalty seeing the Newcastle Falcons snatch a 16-14 victory over Gloucester at Kingston Park. The victory keeps alive the Falcons hopes of securing a place in next season's European Cup.

“It was a real battle with the Falcons showing a true never say die mentality, and playing until the final whistle. The team spirit and will to win was evident to see, and it is those same traits that we try to instil at Complete One,” said Mr. Lowes.

Complete One Discover Self-Confidence as the Most Important Trait for Success

Newcastle-based event promotions specialists Complete One have vast experience coaching and mentoring different types of individuals, and the one trait they have found to be most important for achieving success is self-confidence.

Since their launch in 2012, Complete One have extended their market reach across the UK into Edinburgh, Glasgow, Sheffield and York. Throughout that time, Managing Director Glen Lowes has gained experience working with and mentoring many people, and he has determined self-confidence to be one of the most important traits for success. Complete One have shared their ‘how to’ guide to help people boost their self-confidence.

1. Think positive
Self-confidence is a state of mind, claims Complete One, and the firm argue that changing thoughts changes results, “a positive mind attracts positive results. Retraining your brain to let go of any negativity and focus on the positives can pay dividends,” said Mr. Lowes.

2. Eliminate negativity
The most confident people can eliminate all negative influences, allowing them to maintain and achieve a confidence in their own ability to complete tasks. Complete One argue that negative thoughts and insecurities affect everyone, but it’s how they deal with them that differentiates the successful from the unsuccessful.

3. Focus on personal growth
At Complete One they are passionate about development, and through on-going coaching and mentoring - as well as educational and motivational workshops and seminars - the firm helps their staff and contractors to learn, grow and develop, both personally and professionally.

4. Dress for success
Complete One promote the idea that you should dress for the position you want, not for the position you’re in, and the firm encourages people to dress to impress. “No matter what level you're at, it’s important to dress for success. When you look good, you feel good and that boosts confidence too,” said Mr. Lowes.

5. Be prepared
Preparation is one of the most important elements for confidence, claims Complete One. Preparation gives people confidence in their abilities to perform. At Complete One they often refer to the famous quote by Benjamin Franklin – ‘by failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail’.

6. Set small, achievable goals
Most people lose confidence in themselves because they set themselves up for failure by setting goals that are out of reach. Complete One encourage people to focus on small, achievable goals. “The more someone achieves their goals the more confidence they will gain,” said Mr. Lowes.

7. Empower yourself with knowledge
“Knowledge is power and the more you know the further you can go,” said Mr. Lowes. Complete One contends that empowering yourself is one of the best strategies for building self-confidence. The event-marketing specialists believe that becoming more knowledgeable will simultaneously boost confidence.

At Complete One, they take great pride in having a nurturing working environment where they help people to expand their knowledge and skillset and boost their confidence, setting them up for future success.

Complete One is one of the fastest growing direct sales and marketing companies in the North East. The firm specialises in customer acquisition through event-based marketing campaigns.

Complete One Host ‘Think and Grow Rich’ Workshop

Sales and marketing experts Complete One have recently been discussing how success depends on professionals being able to visualise their goals and create a plan towards them.

Event marketing and promotions specialists Complete One recently hosted a training workshop at their Newcastle office. The theme of the 90-minute workshop was on the concept of ‘think and grow rich’. Topics covered included; organised planning, imagination, desire and persistence.

A workshop defined as ‘a meeting at which a group of people engage in intensive discussion and activity on a particular subject or project’ is extremely beneficial to the professional and personal development of individuals.

Managing Director of Complete One, Glen Lowes, outlined that an essential part of thinking and growing ‘rich’ is goal setting. The MD highlighted that the first stage of goal setting is visualisation, which helps to create the motivation that pushes a person forward to succeed. Mr Lowes explained how important it is to move past the visualisation stage because many people get stuck dreaming about what they want and never actually take the necessary actions needed to achieve it.

Glen Lowes stressed that visualisation does not guarantee someone success because it is not enough just to visualise something; a person must still work hard and dedicate their time towards achieving the goal. But combined with hard work and effort, visualisation is a powerful and useful tool for turning dreams into reality.

Complete One is a dynamic outsourced sales and marketing company that specialises in customer acquisitions through in-person promotions. The firm connects with consumers on a face-to-face basis on behalf of their clients’ brand in order to generate long-lasting and personal business relationships between brand and consumer. This helps the firm to deliver increased customer acquisition, brand awareness and brand loyalty for their clients.

The firm chose to discuss the concept of visualisation with the contractors to help with their professional development. The company is committed to investing in the development of others; Managing Director, Glen Lowes spends much of his time developing the skill set of young entrepreneurs through regular workshops and training seminars. “I am passionate about helping to inspire the future generation of professionals. One of the best things about owning my company is being able to help individuals to achieve their goals,” stated Managing Director, Glen Lowes.
