Managing
Director at Complete One, Glen Lowes was recently invited to be a guest speaker
at a leadership conference, which was attended by hundreds of sales and
marketing professionals.
Held
at the 4-star Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, the conference was attended by sales
and marketing professionals from all over the UK. Held on Sunday 11th
September, the conference commenced with an introduction, industry achievements
and a business development seminar. After a brief refreshment break, the
attendees were divided into two separate groups, the first comprising of
individuals new to the sales and marketing industry and the second group was
formed of experienced entrepreneurs.
Glen
Lowes of Complete One was one of five guest speakers at the conference. He
addressed the two groups at the conference and during his speech he covered how
to master the basics of sales, sharing the tips and skills he learned during
his time working on the ground level. Mr Lowes then shared his advice and
guidance for running successful business trips. The other guest speakers
covered a number of topics including goal setting, employee vs entrepreneur
mentality, how to fast track into a leadership role, how to teach and train
others and the necessary steps to make the transition from a leadership role to
a business owner.
“It
was really exciting to be asked to speak at a conference that was right on my
doorstep. I’ve previously travelled to Edinburgh and Glasgow to speak at
events, so it was nice to be able to be invited to a local event,” said Glen
Lowes, Managing Director at Complete One.
Mr
Lowes is passionate about helping to inspire the next generation of business
owners and he takes great pride in being able to share his advice and insight.

help people and guide them on their entrepreneurial journey,” said Glen
