Complete One Host ‘Think and Grow Rich’ Workshop

Sales and marketing experts Complete One have recently been discussing how success depends on professionals being able to visualise their goals and create a plan towards them.

Event marketing and promotions specialists Complete One recently hosted a training workshop at their Newcastle office. The theme of the 90-minute workshop was on the concept of ‘think and grow rich’. Topics covered included; organised planning, imagination, desire and persistence.

A workshop defined as ‘a meeting at which a group of people engage in intensive discussion and activity on a particular subject or project’ is extremely beneficial to the professional and personal development of individuals.

Managing Director of Complete One, Glen Lowes, outlined that an essential part of thinking and growing ‘rich’ is goal setting. The MD highlighted that the first stage of goal setting is visualisation, which helps to create the motivation that pushes a person forward to succeed. Mr Lowes explained how important it is to move past the visualisation stage because many people get stuck dreaming about what they want and never actually take the necessary actions needed to achieve it.

Glen Lowes stressed that visualisation does not guarantee someone success because it is not enough just to visualise something; a person must still work hard and dedicate their time towards achieving the goal. But combined with hard work and effort, visualisation is a powerful and useful tool for turning dreams into reality.

Complete One’s Glen Lowes talks personal branding at industry conference

Managing Director at Complete One Glen Lowes was among an exclusive set of keynote speakers selected to address attendees at an industry conference this past weekend, with Mr Lowes speaking about personal branding.

Held at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on Sunday February 12th, sales and marketing professionals from all over the UK had travelled to Newcastle to attend the event.

Building a personal brand is something that Glen has been focusing on since his trip to LA last year. During the transatlantic journey, Mr Lowes spent time shadowing two high profile entrepreneurs and business owners within the sales and marketing industry, and one of his biggest takeaways from that trip was the importance of building a personal brand. Upon his return, he made it his mission to start building his own brand.

The strides Mr Lowes has made in this area in recent months haven’t gone unnoticed, with the entrepreneur and business owner being invited to speak on the subject at an industry conference. “One of my biggest passions is sharing my expertise and knowledge with others, helping to advise and guide people on their entrepreneurial journey and watching them make the transition from budding entrepreneur to successful business owner,” said Mr Lowes.

Attendees comprised of rookie sales and marketing professionals, as well as more experienced entrepreneurs and business owners. As well as information and advice on personal branding, there was a host of other guest speakers at the event, each speaking on a specialist subject. Guest speakers on the day included award-winning entrepreneurs and business owners from all over the UK.

The attendees were separated into two groups, depending on their development level. The itinerary for group one included business basics, goal setting, developing a winning mentality, mastering the art of sales, business development and fast-tracking the road to success.

Group two heard from speakers on topics including; how to build an A-team, coaching and mentoring, how to run successful business trips, the importance of building a personal brand, what it takes to be an entrepreneur, and the difference between being a leader and a boss.

Mr Lowes frequently attends industry events and has a number of upcoming speaking engagements.

Managing Director at Complete One shares business advice with budding entrepreneurs

Managing Director at Complete One, Glen Lowes was recently invited to be a guest speaker at a leadership conference, which was attended by hundreds of sales and marketing professionals. 

Held at the 4-star Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, the conference was attended by sales and marketing professionals from all over the UK. Held on Sunday 11th September, the conference commenced with an introduction, industry achievements and a business development seminar. After a brief refreshment break, the attendees were divided into two separate groups, the first comprising of individuals new to the sales and marketing industry and the second group was formed of experienced entrepreneurs.  

Glen Lowes of Complete One was one of five guest speakers at the conference. He addressed the two groups at the conference and during his speech he covered how to master the basics of sales, sharing the tips and skills he learned during his time working on the ground level. Mr Lowes then shared his advice and guidance for running successful business trips. The other guest speakers covered a number of topics including goal setting, employee vs entrepreneur mentality, how to fast track into a leadership role, how to teach and train others and the necessary steps to make the transition from a leadership role to a business owner. 

“It was really exciting to be asked to speak at a conference that was right on my doorstep. I’ve previously travelled to Edinburgh and Glasgow to speak at events, so it was nice to be able to be invited to a local event,” said Glen Lowes, Managing Director at Complete One.
